Meet the Residents of the Equine Advocates Sanctuary
Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary, currently the home of rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules—plus two pygmy goats, has truly become a haven for horses. It is an equine village where horses get to live out their lives in a natural environment that allows them to socialize with each other. If you would like to help the horses living at Equine Advocates Sanctuary, please visit Sponsor a Horse.

Harry
Harry is a Thoroughbred who was rescued by Equine Advocates in 1997. He raced in New England with little success and his owner was about to sell him at auction for meat. At the time of his rescue, he was emaciated and an intact male. He arrived straight from the track with loose shoes and in terrible physical condition. Today, he loves his life in the pasture we affectionately call "Grumpy Old Men's Field" with his buddies Banner & Freddie, also Thoroughbreds. |
