Meet the Residents of the Equine Advocates Sanctuary

Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary, currently the home of rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules—plus two pygmy goats, has truly become a haven for horses. It is an equine village where horses get to live out their lives in a natural environment that allows them to socialize with each other. If you would like to help the horses living at Equine Advocates Sanctuary, please visit Sponsor a Horse.

Kip was a horse-for-hire at a New York City riding stable which has since closed. He was rescued by a NYC resident who had ridden him there. She purchased Kip after she found out that he was suffering from a disease called EPM and was going to be sold at auction. At Cornell University College for Veterinary Medicine, she saw to the treatment for this condition before retiring him at the sanctuary. Kip spends his time with this pasture-mates, Spirit, Bandit & Inno.

Kip is fully sponsored by this same New York City supporter.
