More than 60 staff members of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Albany offices came to volunteer at the sanctuary for a full day of community service. It was an amazing day with so much accomplished!

There is always a need for volunteers at Safe Home as well as services / tasks that you can do at your own home or business. If you have the time to volunteer, please contact us with details on what you would like to do. Thank you very much!
For the Horses
- Groom horses (some equine experience needed)
- Parelli-trained natural horseman/horsewoman
- Groundwork with our rescued horses
- Clear rocks from paddocks (critical to avoid hoof and leg injuries)
- Muck stalls and clear manure from paddocks / pastures

Around the Sanctuary
- Stain fencing and barn structures
- Paint trim on barn structures
- Repair / replace fencing
- Mow lawns
- Provide and plant flowers
For the Education Program
- Conduct seminars on Equine Care.
We welcome:
natural horsemanship trainers, equine veterinarians, equine dentists, equine acupuncturists, equine massage therapists, equine nutritionists and farriers
- Conduct and / or assist with classes & tours at the Sanctuary
- Assist at Open Public Days at the sanctuary
For Fundraising Events, Expos and Fairs
- Assist with fundraising events
- Represent Equine Advocates at expos and fairs
