Dolly, a white Percheron born around 1994, was rescued in 2001 by Equine Advocates along with her baby mule, Gomez, from a farm in Ohio that was otherwise going to send them to auction. Gomez had been adopted but came back to us in 2009. Dolly was also in foal and later gave birth to Zoe. Dolly is one of the gentlest horses at the sanctuary and loves visitors! She spends her days with Sheena, a rescued work horse and Queen in our “Full Figured Girls” field at the sanctuary. Photo Credit: Jim Craner
