Queen, a Clydesdale born around 1993, is a former work mare from a Amish farm in Ohio. She and her baby mule, Gizmo, along with Dolly and her baby mule, Gomez, were all rescued by Equine Advocates in 2001. Queen has recovered from a hind end injury that she had sustained while under the care of the neglectful farmer. Queen is one of the largest and most gentle horses at the sanctuary and is happy spending lots of time with our young visitors who adore her. Queen, and her buddies, Dolly & Sheena, reside in our “Full Figured Girls” field. Photo by Deb Balcanoff
