Terry, a Belgian Draft born at the sanctuary in 2004, is the daughter of former PMU mare Sophia, who was in foal at the time of her rescue. Sadly Sophia passed away in 2019. Terry will never have to know the horrors that her mother experienced. Both had been adopted in 2004 but came back to us. Terry spends her days with PMU offspring Lily and Suzie, and a Thoroughbred named Gracie, in the area of the sanctuary we call “Girls Just Want To Have Fun.”
