What You Can Do
- Become Proactive – If you learn a rodeo is coming to your town, contact local authorities, write letters to sponsors, hold a demonstration or protest, or create and hand out leaflets of information to help educate the public about the abuses and acts of animal cruelty involved.
- Be Persistent – Work toward a state or local ban on calf roping and bucking straps, the most documented cruelty cases in rodeo. Banning these agonizing events and practices would dramatically change the way rodeos are run and possibly eliminate many of them.
- Please support Equine Advocates’ work opposing rodeo, horse soring, and all forms of equine abuse by making a donation today.
