Kris Kokal of Horse Tenders is seen here with Jake, a donkey who had been locked in a stall and isolated for years before being rescued earlier this year. Jake is learning how to be exposed to other equines and situations to which he is not accustomed, such as meeting a flock of Canada Geese by the pond or watching a herd of Thoroughbreds galloping across a field. Jake will soon be introduced to a pasture mate as he continues to learn how to relate to other equines and his surroundings.
