It’s that time again! Every summer, Equine Advocates throws its biggest fundraiser of the year – a wonderful celebration and gala that shines a bright spotlight on all of our year-long efforts of equine rescue, equine advocacy and humane education, as well raising funds to maintain and operate our 140-acre horse sanctuary in Chatham, NY. Most of our 80+ remarkable equine residents were rescued from slaughter, abuse and neglect. With the help of our generous sponsors and donors, our main issue is to end the mistreatment and slaughter of horses. We can’t think of a more fitting place to host our event than Saratoga Springs, NY a town which is filled with horse lovers and is symbolic of The Horse and the vital role horses have played in our history, dating back to the Revolutionary War.
This year’s gala will be held on Thursday, August 2nd at the Canfield Casino, one of the oldest and most historic buildings in Saratoga. We will be honoring Terry Finley and Wanda Polisseni for their major contributions in the area of equine protection. Tickets are $250 per person. For more information or to purchase tickets, please call (518) 392-0175 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope you will join us for a night of fun and fund-raising for Equine Advocates featuring silent and live auctions with some very horsey gifts and a great gourmet dinner. If you can’t make it, please consider donating to our cause or sponsoring one or more of our rescued horses, ponies, donkeys or mules!
