Equine Advocates President and Founder Susan Wagner and Co-Founder of the Coalition for NYC Animals Elizabeth Forel wrote an opinion piece on NYC carriage horses for the NY Daily News. The piece, titled “Put these steeds out to pasture: It’s time to replace carriage horses with electric vehicles,” is already gaining attention and several Letters to the Editor in support of Wagner and Forel’s opinion. Wagner and Forel are also co-founders of the Committee for Compassionate and Responsible Tourism.
