Felix is a Standard Donkey born around 2009. He was bred by an Amish farmer who sent him to a slaughter auction in Ohio in December 2025. Felix was saved by our good friend Gerda Silver in Vermont. He arrived at Equine Advocates on June 1, 2026. Felix is so sweet and low-key that he has joined the small herd of Miniature Donkeys who live up near our Main Barn. Since we don’t have an exact birth date for him, we will celebrate his birthday every year on May 8th, which is World Donkey Day.
