Gizmo
From: $50.00 / month
Gizmo, born March 27, 2001, is one of the largest Mules at the sanctuary. Equine Advocates rescued him and his mother, a Clydesdale mare named Queen, from an Ohio Amish farm in 2001 along with a Percheron named Dolly and her offspring Gomez, another handsome mule. The two mules were placed in a foster home in New Hampshire while their mothers stayed at a farm in New York until we established our sanctuary in 2004. Gizmo and Gomez eventually arrived at our sanctuary in 2010.
Queen and Dolly sadly passed away in 2022, but Gizmo and Gomez still happily live together in a large field we call “Mule Town.”
Gizmo and Gomez spend their days together in an area we call “Mule Town” along with another former work mule and one former buggy horse.
Gizmo is proudly sponsored by supporters from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; Mill Neck, New York; New York, New York and Tacoma, Washington.
