On Wednesday, March 5th, Equine Advocates President Susan Wagner was interviewed on WPDH FM Radio in Poughkeepsie, New York by Commander Tom Zurhellen on his weekly ‘Vets Who Rock’ segment of the Boris and Robyn Show. Among the topics discussed was the new Veterans to Veteran Horses Program being developed by Equine Advocates to benefit former military working horses and local veterans. Our organization is currently home to five equine veterans who each served in the Caisson Platoon, a unit of the U.S. Army. Every month, 101.5 WPDH, MHA of Dutchess County, and Mid-Hudson Pump spotlight a different veterans’ organization and donate $500 to help them continue their work. We’re honored that Equine Advocates is the chosen ‘Vets Who Rock’ organization for March!
