This week has been a busy one here at Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary! In addition to our daily schedule of caring for our Equine Residents and enjoying the changing colors of the trees, we’ve had FOUR 1st grade classes come to visit from Mary E. Dardess Elementary School in Chatham, NY! Our Humane Education program is tailored to suit each grade level and we’re sure to provide new and exciting content for returning visitors! This week, we focused on the importance of compassion, how similar the needs of humans and equines are and the daily actions we can take to be the very best Equine and animal advocates! Each group created their own poster to help show what they learned and experienced on the farm that day. Enjoy some photos below of the educational and experiential fun!
