Equine Advocates would like to thank SUNY Cobleskill’s Equine Studies program for visiting us today!

Founder & President Susan Wagner spoke with the students about managing a nonprofit, equine welfare, and ethics. The students also toured the sanctuary with Susan, Equine Care Manager Melissa Murray, and Assistant Equine Care Manager Courtney Preston.

Associate Professor Raymond Whelihan was reunited with an old friend, a donkey named Pedro. Raymond’s involvement led to Pedro’s rescue and arrival at Equine Advocates in summer 2018.

It was great meeting the students and seeing the passion they share for horses!
